Idk what to do..

I dont really want to make this post on here but I like to stay anonymous and not ask on my facebook..

So I'm from MB Canada and our daycares just shut down for 3 weeks, starting the 23rd.

I dont exactly have people to watch her all the time and I work, 3 days a week so not terrible, but am I even allowed to stop going to work because of this?

I have anxiety so this is freakin me out. Pregnant with my second... my work, if it matters, is with people with Intellectual and physical disabilities, we are a day program, and my boss is remaining open... (even though they are all at higher risk🙄🙄🙄🙄) anyway, I'm not sure what my rights are, do I need like a note stating I cant work because I eont have childcare... is my boss allowed to terminate me if I dont come in. He can be very unreasonable so I'm nervous as it is...

He will ask so many questions, why this, why that, what about this person... when bottom line is, it just doesnt work for us.

Is he allowed to refuse me not coming to work to care for my child? If he is, I guess I look into taking a leave without pay... I'm confused how this works for my situation.. workplace open, no care for child... 😭

Can someone pls help? I will remove this post once I receive some answers.. or a step in the direction I could take.

Thank you so much
