I work part time and due in July. I’m considering submitting a doctors note so that I don’t need to come into work but don’t lose my job and then apply for maternity when baby is born and maybe go on mat leave early as this corona issue will likely go into the Summer. If I’m not working due to sick note/medical leave will i still be eligible for EI? I already have the 600 hours. Any other options you ladies are considering to avoid working now until it’s time for mat leave ?? Ahhh
