Yesterday morning I woke up at 38+3 with contractions every 5 minutes, nausea, diarrhea, and thought this is it! Went to labor and delivery, check me upon arrival and I was a fingertip, I walked an hour checked me again I was 1.5 cm, took a bath and bounced on ball and got to a 2. Still had regular contractions so dr suggested trying pitocin, after being hooked up for 3 hours and dosage up to an 11 I had zero change so doctor sent me home. I was in hospital for 13.5 hours, took 3 attempts to get my iv in, zero pain meds during pitocin. This goes to show that babies come only when they are ready. Glad my dr stopped it all and didn’t force something when my body wasn’t ready.
