Corona job crisis

So my mother lost her job because the company she worked for had to cut some locations due to the corona virus restricting restaurants. Financial stability isn’t too much of a fear for us yet, she’s always been good with that stuff. But she’s spent so much time with that company, just recently climbed the ladder to a general manager position. And just like that, ten years of putting her all into work, gone. I know she’s upset but she wants to hide it. She said, “I feel like they had a GM meeting without me today” and that just broke my heart. I don’t know what to say to her, I don’t know how to feel about this. I’m scared.
