When to start baby nursery

Hi so I’m 21 weeks and 5 days pregnant, and I really want to start decorating and getting ready for my baby girl since I’m on lockdown and won’t be able to work for the next 3 weeks.
Is it too early to paint/remodel our room? (Baby is getting a designated space in my room since we live with my fiancé’s parents for now)
I want to start but my fiancé says it’s way too early, thoughts?

I’m 19 weeks and I painted my babies nursery already and I have a crib to put together. I hate doing things last second 😭

We just finished our baby girls room and she’s now 6 months old🤦🏼‍♀️😂 we weren’t really rushing because we want her in room for the first 9-12months. But it’s really never too early to start if you want something to occupy yourself and keep you busy😊 just don’t stress over it and have fun with it!

Never too early. I’m 27 weeks and nursery has been done for over a month ☺️

Not too early! I’m sure you’ll want to have things prepared before your shower. if you’re not having one then at least before you start buying clothes etc so that you can have somewhere to put and organize. We had turned our dining room into the nursery and had some more major Reno to do so we started right after we found out the gender at 20 weeks. Plus you’ll blink and it’ll be time for the baby to come so may as well be prepared.

Personally I don’t think it’s too early. You do what’s right for you! It makes sense to start now seeing as you’ve got all this free time!
