I know it sounds crazy.

But the US still has the highest mortality rate for mothers of all developed countries.

I’m 28, have one baby already and am about to have my second through c-section.

I’ve heard that the statistics for maternal death include deaths up to a year after delivery.

Because of heart failure, stroke, blood clot...

Anyway, I’m just freaking out.

Is this a normal fear??

I’m also terrified of something terrible happening to my baby. I can’t shake it. What’s wrong with me??
