I'd get over it, especially if it was an accident with no foul play. 
If he did it on purpose, I'd never get over it, in that I'd tell a lot of people the story and get mad over & over. Lol

Playing devils advocate here but it was also your responsibility to ensure he was clean or that you both were! So imo it’s kinda hard to be mad at someone unless they knew they had herpes and decided to lie about it

As someone who is actually living with this due to an ex I have to say you do get over it. Absolutely in the beginning and definitely when you’re starting new relationship it made me very angry and upset. But 12 years on I’m over it and have been for a long time. The biggest pet that upset me was he was my first and now I’m left with this reminder. Life goes on though and it’s easier as time goes by.

Yes if he knew he has it yet he still lies to my face and still gives it to me. Would be pissed at him for life. Would keep wishing a bad karma on him for life, lol
