Rock and play sleeper

Does anyone have the rock and play sleeper? I was given this by a friend and she said he baby slept in it until she was about 4 months old and I’ve tried to get my baby to sleep everywhere. 2 different bassinets, pack and play, crib and the only thing he will sleep in is this rock and play. I saw that they were recalled but it mostly looked like it was because babies rolled over in them. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever used one and if they had a problem with it.
