We almost made it!
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic our contractor is self quarantined. I’m thankful he’s smart enough to isolate himself, he’s in his late sixties and has a chronic lung issue. So staying home is definitely safest for him (and everyone)! But that doesn’t change the fact that I’m bummed out our renovation project is completely on hold. We’ve already been at a standstill for about 3 weeks waiting on trim and doors to come in before they can finish everything else. Trim was due in Thursday, but because of the pandemic it’s been delayed until further notice. We at least have the basics and that’s what matters to get us through right now! I’m trying to stay positive about every angle of my life that’s been changed from covid-19, so I figured I’d share our remodel with you guys! I’m so proud of how it’s coming together I designed it all by myself with opinions here and there from my husband. Basically we doubled our kitchen. You can’t tell from the photos, but we completely redid the ceiling going from fluorescents and weirdly placed/ limited lighting. To 21 cans and accent lighting. Plus added a light over our dining room table. Makes the biggest difference! This truly is my dream kitchen so waiting another month or 2...or whatever it takes will be worth it in the end. Good things come to those who wait 😁
To show how different it is I’ll throw in some before pictures.
**all old photos uploaded weird ☹️
