My son was born sunny side up. It was the WORST back labor ever. After 2 hours of pushing they finally decided to vaccum him out and he was out in 2 pushes i tore all the down to my butt. My uterus came out with him so they had to put it back in place I ended up with 30 stitches inside and out..

My daughter was face up. They didn’t realize it till four hours of pushing had passed. I tore internally. They asked if they could cut and vacuum. I told them yes and two pushes later she was born. Recovery wasn’t bad either and I had a good epidural. It wasn’t horrible for me just exhausting.

Mine was sunny side up during labor and it caused me to have back labor which was the worst thing ever of all time😬 the nurses had me get into various positions to influence her to turn and after several hours it worked and it was the biggest relief ever!!! Once she turned I went from 7com to 10cm and ready to push in less than ten minutes.

Honestly yes! My baby girl was born facing up and my back hurt so badly and I had the worst back labor & was in early labor for 13 days... most people have to have a c section with baby facing up because moms cant give birth like that I did it with nothing for pain and it honestly hurt so badly but thankfully I didnt RIP hardly at all down there it does hurt but so 100% worth it
