How long do you think this will last for?

Maybe even after the shut downs in places have been lifted, how long do you think until people can get back in groups for big gatherings? Just curious what you all think and where you’re getting you’re information.

It will be much longer than this “15 day” plan, that’s a certainty.  
A lot of data that I’ve seen quoted in various articles, is from the Imperial College of London team’s projections, which if I understand correctly, says up to 18 months of distancing, if we’re doing things right.  It’s hard to know for sure, but we’re looking at months of this - I believe in one of the press conferences July or August was mentioned as a guess as to when certain activities resume, though the virus will still be circulating?  Unfortunately, it seems a lot of folks still aren’t abiding by distancing halfway through this 15 day period, and due to the fact that we don’t have strict orders in place nationally, I have no idea how this is going to turn out.

I’m gonna say the end of May but that’s just my opinion because ￼businesses are closing and people are staying in their homes I can’t imagine it goes on for too much longer especially since things are getting better in China

I think things will slowly start to look better by the end of May, quarantines will be less strict and people will slowly start getting back to work by June.
(Just my optimistic opinion that’s keeping me going.)

As soon as the US gets their shit together and starts testing people, it’ll be fine.

I think it will go in waves.
We will social distance, get it under control, loosen restrictions... it’ll flare back up, we will reign it back in... and it’s going to be a cycle until we develop a vaccine in 18 months to 3 years.
