Fair warning. I dye my hair at home. I’m sorry. I promise I don’t use box dye.....

The health isn’t so bad anymore but I’ve been dyeing it red for about a year and a half.

I have level 3-4 dark brown roots and so the contrast is awful. If I don’t do my roots every six weeks I look absolutely crazy. I am TIRED of that because I almost always miss a spot in the back and it’s just a lot of upkeep..... I’m going to go to a salon now and see if they can make me into a balayage- dark brown like my roots to caramel/blonde/ really whatever is possible I’m not going to fuss.... I just want to grow my hair out and not be so tied to a salon every few weeks.

My question is can a salon take this (this is my actual hair)

To this??? Or something like this? In one session? I am fully prepared (and want to) chop off some length.
