So much clear... discharge?

Question

I am 4 days into my period with a medium flow. When I used the restroom I noticed that there was a lot of this clear discharge? I’m not really sure if that is the technical term. But it was clear and seemed to have the consistency of the whites of an egg. I have had clear discharge before my period but never during and never this much... Does anyone have a clue what it may be? 😕

It is a sign that your estrogen level is surging. Sometimes we get these cycles where everything is happening in a weird order. 
It is normal to have a slight surge in estrogen towards the end of your period, and then the big surge when you approach ovulation. Some women also get that surge just before menstruation starts or during the first day or two.

So much clear... discharge?
