Pushed for 5+ hours and wasn’t budging, heart rate dropped so emergency csection happened. Then 2nd baby was a repeat to avoid repeat of 1st.

I pushed for 2 hours and he was not coming out 🤦‍♀️ He asked if I wanted to keep pushing or have a csection so I opted for that.

Medically necessary for my first. We found out at 20 weeks he had contracted a virus in utero that could have possibly killed him. The virus typically causes low platelet counts, so if I had a vaginal delivery it could have caused bleeding on his brain. I went into labor naturally at 37 weeks with him though.
My second was delivered via csection because I didn’t wanna go past 40 weeks and my doctor doesn’t induce women for VBACs. Had he come naturally before 39 weeks he would have been a VBAC but he didn’t wanna come out so he was born via csection at 39 weeks!

My water broke early in the morning around sunrise and then I went in with back contractions, no progression and too distressed (baby and I), only dilated 2-3 cm after my induction of about 11 hours and then had the c section. 
Trying for VBAC this time, recovery sucked.
