Is it weird for adult women to have sleepovers with their BFF?

*This is not happening till October so we hope the Coronavirus will not be around*
So I’m BFFs with 4 girls for the past 22 years since we were in elementary school. As we got older, some got married and we all moved away for careers or something else. Once a year we love to meet at one person’s house and spend the weekend. This is the first year I’m doing it after getting married and my husband thinks it’s the weirdest thing to have sleep over at my age, what’s your opinion on this.

When my fiancé would work out of town my best friend would come and sleep over at my house once a week. We would watch movies, cook, drink wine, do our hair and nails lol there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I don’t think it’s weird—your life and friendships don’t stop when you’re married. My mom went weekends to see her sisters sometimes, my dad went up to RI once a year to fish with his friend from college. My SO’s parents go on camping/hiking trips with their friends. I strive for that 🤩
My friends don’t even live in my city, when we visit we’re definitely sleeping over

For 1 night? Sure. A whole weekend? Nah. I'm  30 and have a child and husband and my own home. I don't need multiple nights to drink and have girl talk anymore. I've just grown out of that stuff. I get excited over cleaning products and toys now days, not over gossiping about everything in everyone's life.

Not at all!! My bestie & I are in our 30s & still have sleepovers/girls’ weekends. Our last one was in December right after Christmas. And, we definitely can’t wait until this virus has gone away or died down significantly so we can have another one! We catch up on each other’s lives in more detail, drink, she smokes lol, we pig out, and watch movies all weekend. Sometimes her wife joins the fun a bit & other times she just gets us our goodies & lets us have complete bestie time lol
