Is 19 too early for a baby?

I got pregnant at 19
Not really trying, but not really preventing.
I can say it was with the wrong person, at the wrong time.
I wish I would have been smarter and waited for the right person.
I thought I was in love, but I had no idea what love was.
I have the best 10 year old son in the world, but I missed out a lot in my young life.
Missed trips, late nights with friends.
Harder to get jobs because of childcare.
Trying to make sure I had enough money for myself and a child.
It was a struggle, but I had LOTS of help from my parents.
Not everyone can be so lucky.
If you think you are completely ready then you are free to make you choice.
But just remember it’s going to change everything.

Probably...most likely. At 19 for most you just got out of high school, are probably not making enough to pay bills especially to afford a child which includes medical and childcare.

I got pregnant with my first at 21 and had him at 22 and I think it was too young but we were financially stable, married, and owned a home at least. I just wish I’d have had more time to myself/with just my husband.

I think it is. At 19 I was in college living my best life! Lol I’m in my 30’s now and while I do think my kids made my life better, they also changed it drastically. And I wasn’t a teen mom, I can’t even imagine being 19 wanting those responsibilities! Stable or not. It’s not even about parties, or sleeping in - it’s about experiencing life. No matter how mature you think you are, who you are now will not be who you are in your 30’s, 40’s etc and I’m almost certain you’ll look back and think wtf was I thinking at 19 >_<

I will say that 19 is young. I wish I could go out and have some freedom sometimes. Like your whole life will revolve around your baby and so you won't be able to go out as much or see friends and much. A lot of your wants and need will be put on hold for this child. I love my children to death, but I get jealous when I see my friends going out all the time and enjoying themselves.

I have 15 month old twins at 19 😂 I got pregnant at 17 and had my boys at 18.

Depends on a lot. If you’re financially able then no it’s not.... I was pregnant at 19 but we already owned a house and had our 2 cars also. Husband makes plenty on his own so we decided I would stay home. We have 2 kids now.

I got pregnant with my first at 19, planned I might add. We own our own home and pay our own bills. We’re completely responsible for ourselves and provide for our child. We are now 21 and TTC for #2 so in my case I would say 19 is not to young. 😌
