My birth story💙

5 pounds 15 ounces 19 1/2 in long💙

So this is pretty late he is now 3 weeks and 1 day old ..

Any how I went in to get induced on the 2nd at 6 pm we started cytotec every 3-4 hours I would take the pill by mouth. by the 3rd dose I started to cramp it was a bit intense but nothing I couldn’t handle, was still able to nap in between the times they came in. I guess i was really tired because by 8 am my doctor was sitting on the end of my bed taking to me lol ! She was letting me know we were about to break my water. I was super scared about that part !! It looked like a very long stick that she just stuck up there and it was the weirdest sensation once I felt it break and the water started coming out. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought.. so time goes by and they kept checking ... Things started to hurt pretty bad and the contractions grew extremely painful the nurse came in around 10 and i was dilated to a 4 ! I told her I wanted the epidural she told me the anesthesiologist would be in shortly .. it was 40 mins later and she came back to tell me he was in a c section and it would be a little while .. well the pain kept getting worse and worse ! They ended up putting this pain medication through my IV for the time being until I could get my epidural.. it was crazy I felt HIGH it was so strong but the contractions were still painful but bearable enough for me to take a nap .. by 12 I got my epidural not nearly as painful as i thought it would be the hardest part was sitting through the contractions.. after the epidural kicked in things went by pretty fast I was dilated to a 5 by 1:00 and then by 2 I started to feel pressure so I told the nurse and she said I was at an 8 !! I was getting so anxious!! She came back at 2:30 to replace my IV and I told her there was an insane amount of pressure she checked me and it was time to push !!! Things went very smoothly only 4 hard pushes and he was out !!! Had some small tearing I didn’t tear down to my butt I tore up so the healing was terrible every time I peed it burned soooo bad !!
