Labour?

Constant lower back pain and cramps every now and then..... Do you think labour could be near?
I'm 40 weeks

Thank you all. Had a bad back all night and at 12am I started having contractions until 4pm.....when they stopped again. I'm shattered, didn't sleep. And now have to get up and look after my two year old! Fun times!

Also, start timing them if you are curious. Labor will form a pattern and braxton hicks will not.. it’ll be very spread out! Hope that helps! 😘

I started out that way! It felt like mild period cramps lower in the abdomen area and through my lower back and between my legs.. and then it slowly picked up. A good way to find out if it’s labor or braxton is to drink some cold water and lay on your left side for an hour, if it goes away than it’s braxton of it doesn’t it’s labor. True labor will continue no matter what you do. Also a hot bath would stop it too if it’s braxton!
