Easy makeup tips and tricks, please?

This is my every day makeup. I think it's fine but it's very basic. Since I'm stuck in the house for awhile I figured it would be a good time to practice some new looks. Anyone have any ideas? My husband isn't a fan of bold lips or brows so maybe something for my eyes? Also I'd really love to wear fake lashes but have bought them multiple times and cant ever get them on correctly. Any tips for how to apply them or which are good to buy? I've always just gotten the cheapest, not sure if it makes a difference.
