Tips on stopping pumping
Baby is a week old and I just decided pumping isn't for me. I knew I didnt want to breastfeed but with the virus and everything going on I wanted to give pumping a try to make sure I had another option for feeding the baby in case it was hard to get formula. But it's just getting so hard to keep up with while also having a 2-1/2 year old, recovering from a csection, and once my husband goes back to work next week it will be even harder seeing as i won't have any help. Any tips on how to stop without being in so much pain? I was pumping every 2-1/2 hours and I cut back to pumping every 4 hours but by 3 hours I'm in pain. Figured I'd just gradually increase the amount between pumping sessions and eventually my body would stop producing milk. I know they say Benadryl (or is it Sudafed? Idk)is supposed to help dry you up but I'm still feeding baby what I do get for now so is it safe for baby?
