Is Matthew 22:39 wrong?

Does it bother anyone else when someone always post bible verses, are openly racist sexist or homophobic, and completely ignore “Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself”(Matthew 22:39)? Especially when someone uses that verse in an argument saying that they shouldn’t be hateful?

It makes me very angry and upset when someone uses any religion whether it’s Christianity or something else to spread hate.

Any hypocrisy kills me. If someone’s a jerk, at least be honest. Then it makes whoever they’re pretending to be not look so bad (like when people say they’re a Christian and lack the love of Christ). Nobody’s perfect, but there’s a distinct difference between imperfect and total liar.

The Bible isn’t wrong in any aspect. it’s people that twist  the words of GOD  to fit whatever their agenda is.
