Is your kid telling stories about his/her day?

So I am a bit worried that our daughter still is not telling any stories. I mean, kids usually tell stories what was happening throughout the whole day. She never does that. If you ask her what have we been doing she will most likely say things we have not actually done. If you insist she may say a word or two about our day but that’s pretty much it. I was wondering if it is age appropriate or if it actually is some kind of speech delay? My observation is that she generally speaks worse than other kids in her kindergarten group but she is the smallest in there so I wanted to have a real comparison how actually September babies talk now. If you could say a word or two about tour kids’ speech development it would really help.
