Exclusively pumping please help
Does exclusively pumping dry you up? 😞 the nurses told me to manual pump in hospital so my milk would come in and it worked. I always kind of had issues getting her to latch she falls asleep or screams because we can’t get in a comfortable position and she’ll latch for a second then like tear off. So I was just pumping constantly and it was fine. But pediatricians office she gained only an ounce and I was told pumping will dry me up and is the easy way and to put her st breast each time. Ive been trying so hard then try to pump after like I’ve been told and it seems like I’m now pumping less. She is 3 weeks tomorrow. I need to see a lactation consultant and they are all like closed due to the pandemic. I ordered nipple shields since she sucks great and handles bottles just fine hoping that helps. Ugh please help with anything else I can do. I want to continue to breastfeed and do it at breast.
