Mattress protector ?

Has anyone organised anything incase their water breaks in bed? 
I just randomly thought of it
I’m 36 weeks and feel my water breaking would cause expensive damage to my topper and mattress

We've always had a waterproof mattress protector both my husband and I have a water bottle by our bedside. I have definitely dropped water on the we'd In a  drowsy haze haha

Go out and buy a cheap plastic shower curtain. That's what I recommend for anyone potty training a child also for their bed incase of little accidents through the night saves buying anything expensive and it works just as well. I'm 37 weeks and have sharp twinges but no contractions that I know of haha. My son is 8 and cant remember much of labour and contractions tbh, my waters broke with him while I wash pushing but I'm worried mines going to happen while I'm walking around the house 😂 might just tie a shower curtain around me while I walk hahahaha xx

I got a cheap one off amazing I’m 37 weeks and put it on over the weekend, just incase x

I will admit I have a left over toddler bed pad on my half of the bed. We bought them when my daughter switched from nappies to pants at night and never used the full pack 😂😂 thought I best not waste them and it might be good if my waters break 😂😂 for my daughter I slept with folded towels underneath me but ended up being induced with her so had my waters broken at hospital.

I'm kinda of a freak. I put down a mattress protector, a set of sheets, another mattress protector, another set of sheets and then one of those pads they use for incontinent elderly adults. I figure if it breaks while I'm sleeping I'll want to go back to sleep to save energy instead of doing a ton of laundry. Lol.

I bought one on amazon when I was pregnant with my first. My water broke when I was out and about. I’m convinced I’m going to go into labor in the night with baby number two. Glad we still have the mattress protector.
