Anyone else social distancing from their partner?

My husband and I made the choice today to do so ☹️ he’s considered essential to DOD and still goes into work everyday so we decided for the baby’s sake, it’s for the best. I’m so bummed about not having help for the foreseeable future...basically being a single mom while he stays 6 feet away. Ugh. Can’t wait til this is all over.

I’ve been social distancing from him since I was 7 months pregnant 😂😂😂 we’ve still been sleeping in separate rooms lol

We are both considered essential, but are working from home. I have to run into the office 1x every 2wks. Same with if husband goes to the store.... gets changed immediately when home. Honestly since you live together, unless he’s staying completely in a room you never go into... you’re all exposed because he’s touching the same surfaces you are. I think it would be impossible to wipe every single thing down he touches

No. He comes home, strips and showers.  We are both out of the house him Monday-Friday and I am out one day a week.  Neither of us are around a lot of people either.  We have two kids, a 3 year old and 3 month old.

My husband has an essential job too - I make him strip in the garage and then shower before he has contact with any of us. We have 2 kids 3 years and 4 months. Not much we can do about him having an essential job...but we need him here too. Lol our 3 year old knows no distance

We’re not, but we talked about it.  I work in healthcare and could be redeployed to a high COVID hospital soon.  I’m just stripping down and showering right when I get home and we’re wiping surfaces of all of my bags.

Nope. Husband and I both work in food manufacturing (and on the lines people are on top of each other) I go back Thursday from maternity leave, and his parents are high risk due to age, his mom used to watch our 3yo but he’s not comfortable with that with everything going on, my mom works at a gas station where they serve food and she will be watching the kids (3yo, and 4mo) in the threeish hours our shifts overlap. 
We’ve had one positive case in the plant so far, and I’m so anxious now about going back. We’ve talked about if one of us gets it they will be in the lower level of the house while the one who doesn’t have it will be in the upper level (we have a bilevel). It’ll suck and chances are but the time one of us has it the other will too & then we’ll just be praying the littles don’t get it.
