Should people that have coronavirus be legally punished if they don’t quarantine themselves?

This is just one example. There have also been articles of a man with COVID-19 going around sneezing and touching food in grocery stores.
People that knowingly pass on STD’s are legally punished, I feel like that is comparable to this. Should the sentence for this be the less than, the same, or greater?
