Trying to potty train my 2yr old

Pull ups are not helping. I figured out that they don’t make him feel wet. It was soaked and I felt the inside (I know nasty. I washed my hands) it felt DRY!

He does have big boy underwear but wets himself in those, even poops and doesn’t say anything until afterwards or he waits until I ask.

Should I just go back to diapers?? I thought pull ups would help him feel independent because he can pull them down himself. He doesn’t want anyone to wipe his penis or his butt because they are his but he’s not trying to clean himself 🤦🏻‍♀️ this is so frustrating.

If I’m going back to diapers do that make a size 6/7?? He wears a 4t/5t in pull ups.

I thought he was ready because he holds his pee through the night and throughout the day. And when he’s in the bath tub he will get out and pee on the potty. He likes to squat when he pees and poos. He doesnt like sitting on the potty. He rather squat in the tub 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
