Induction stories?

I’m getting induced at 40 weeks and I’m really scared it’ll lead into csection. I just need to know what are those chances. Can I hear some of your induction stories?

There are a lot of factors though. Being 40 weeks is better than 38. If your cervix is already effaced or dilated that helps as well.

I got induced at the 40 weeks one day.  My water broke 4 hours later was in labor for 28 hours 1 cm dilated and had an emergency c section, babys heart rate was dropping

I had induction bc my water already broke. I made it to 4cm. It was long and tiring.

Chances of a c section aren’t much higher than a normal birth. I was induced at 37 weeks and it was 16 hours. 6 hours pushing and an episiotomy later he was out. No pain meds. It was a relatively easy and quick process. Don’t stress too much.
