Fetal doppler 15 weeks?

Question

Got my fetal doppler from Sonoline B today and tried using it. Couldn't find heartbeat much I think I heard it for a second. At first I was searching too high and when I finally heard the snippet of baby's heart I turned off the machine bc i used it for 15 min already and I didn't want to put too much pressure on baby and I was getting g worries stressing myself over trying to find it. The hr didnt show up on the device but I heard it. Anyone have the same problem? I'm finally 15 weeks today and heard it should be easy to find but no. It was my first time using one so it's a little confusing. Researched after the fact I used it that baby should still be above pelvic bone. Ayyee... anyone else use a home doppler? If so when when did you finally hear baby's heart? Anyone found it easier after 15 weeks? Help... lol

There are a bunch of little things that make a difference for me (I’m 12w5d and have been finding since 10w). 
-Stack a few pillows up under your butt to tilt your pelvis upside down. 
-Try with a full bladder and again with an empty bladder, one way or the tends to be a lot better for most women. 
-Hold the probe on a angle when you press it into your abdomen instead of flat down and sort of pivot it in all directions to check all around that spot for baby
At 12w I’m finding baby just along the line where my pubic hair stops growing (the best way I can describe it! Lol) and depending on the day it might be slightly to the left or right or sometimes exactly in the centre!

Did you try looking up a YouTube video on how to find it? It can take a few practices. I think by 15 weeks though I usually could find baby once I figured out how to use it. The heart rate count on that thing was never super accurate for me too.

I found my babies heart beat around that time where my underwear lining is, right in the middle.

I found it at 15 weeks and im plus size. They're still down low by the pelvic bone. I dont trust the readings on the screens I just listen for his heart beat. Im 23 now and check HB 1-2× a week usually takes me about 1 or 2 min to find it.

i starting using mine at 14 weeks, it was super easy to find the heartbeat but baby would move every time we found him so we would just have to chase him around.

I found using it prior to the second trimester easier than I did in the second trimester. Most the time I don’t have the number of the hr show up on the display
