So I work at a grocery store and there’s this one male customer maybe in his late 50s early 60s, looks healthy and always has a special energy about him. We chat about stuff briefly every time he comes in. So two days ago as I’m sanitizing our carts he comes up to me and says you know I really appreciate what you’re doing and I could tell you’re a genuine person and a good soul. I wanted to give you this. He held out his hand and I held out mine. He said don’t look at it till he left or after work. I grabbed it and put it in my pocket and said thank you I appreciate it. When he left I looked at it. While it was in my pocket it felt like a credit card of some sort but heavier. I took it out and looked at it!!! He gave me a legit piece of gold! Later I looked it up and it’s worth $1,630 right now. I am not short on money at all so I was like whoa! He said to save it for an emergency. Gold! My brothers a coin collector and said like 1% of the population has actual gold like this. I was in shock! It’s not even about the money at all, this had to have been special to him and he just gave it to me like it was a piece of candy! I’m one of those people that save things forever so I’m not going to spend it unless like he said an emergency.
