Do you have regrets

Question

So I had my abortion almost three years ago this year. I don’t really think about it often, but this year it has really been weighing on me. I find myself crying about it often and angry about the whole situation in general. Is anyone else feeling this way months/years after your abortion?

I had one 2.5 years ago and I’ve never regretted it.  I’m not sure having those feelings so long after it is normal.  It might be a good idea to see a therapist so you can stop feeling bad.

An abortion is a loss even when you know it was the right choice for you. I’d say I grieved for about a year. After that, I found that it didn’t hurt to think about anymore. It’s just part of my life story now. Now 6 years later, it is what it is. Ending that pregnancy has made it possible for my partner and I to start a family now.
