Is it normal for babies to have quieter days?

I’m 31 weeks and today baby hasn’t moved or kicked much! Yet I noticed a pattern, but recently it seems like she’s sleeping most the time! 
I’m assuming this normal?

Babies are more active at night/when you’re settling down. When you’re walking and moving around throughout the day, those rocking motions can rick them to sleep—remember, they’re not on the same time schedule as us. 
And the. When you are settling down those rocking motions stop and they tend to wake up.
But if something feels wrong or abnormal, call your OB.

It depends on your baby, you definitely should give your ob a call if you’re not getting movements (it’s usually ice cream or popsicles that work for me). I talked to my dr about it. For me, baby will have a couple crazy active days then a quieter day but she’s still awake at her normal times. I can easily get her to move though during her awake times. My ob said as long as I’m getting movement out of her during her normal awake times, she not worried.

yep. i’m 32 weeks today and mine has his quiet times and later at night when i get ready for bed is when he gets going in there

Lay down and drink something cold and sugary. Babys can sometimes be lazy some days, if the baby kicks a good bit after drinking cold sugary something shes fine. She may be in a position where you might not feel her moving as much
