I had a csection nearly 4 weeks ago and about 4-5 days after, I have a burning sensation when I’d pee, the opening of my vagina felt irritated and slightly itchy and there was an unusual smell. I saw my doctor, got some swabs done and did a urine test. My swabs (std, yeast, BV) all came back negative and my urine test was clean too. My symptoms have mostly gone away but I’m still noticing an unpleasant smell. Any idea what this could be? My doctors only suggestion was to up my water intake but I have and I mean, it’s not back to normal. It’s super upsetting, I feel gross. I have no pain internally, just some minor discomfort sometimes. My incision has healed beautifully, no sign of infection there.
