Any dentists here??

I got fillings a couple months ago and ever since then I’ve been having excruciating pain in those same places whenever I drink something cold or hot! I’ve never experienced it before. I’m gunna get sensodyne but this is so so so painful. My mom seems to think they left some nerves exposed. Help me lol 🥺

See if sensodyne helps. I also recommend using clove oil on the area. If it continues to be an issue, get in touch with your dentist. 
One of my fillings just wasn’t calming down, so he used a sedative filling (which contains clove oil) until it calmed down, and then left a thin layer of that filling in when he placed the permanent filling. Haven’t had an issue since!

I’m not a dentist but the same thing happened to my partner. He was in agony for weeks following a filling and no one would see him because of covid. He got to the point where he was maxed out on every type of pain killer and still in pain, it was awful to witness. He was cleaning his teeth one night when something came out from between his tooth - it was a chip of tooth and since that day (touch wood!) he’s been back to his normal self!

I had that issue and they said it would eventually go away and it did. I also got sensodyne and it seemed to help.

Idk how bad your sensitivity is, but for me I started getting sensitive to hot and cold going into my mouth and touching those areas. So I started with sensodyne and it helped a lot, but I'd still get it every so often. It made zero sense. So I tried Colgate gel-kam which is a protective fluoride thing that gets put over the teeth after brushing. It has been life changing for me.
