Broke up with my ex for complicated reasons but I'll try to simplify. Basically, I was sexually assaulted and while trying to heal, I realized that my then-bf was a narcissist who was just hurting my chances of getting better. Whenever I'd try to open up, he'd react in odd ways that pushed me closer and closer to suicide (For e.g. one time I started to explain what happened and how I felt, he said "Maybe you just need me to f**k you" and proceeded to coerce me into sex). So I dumped him, but through numerous mutual friends and connections, we ended up being friendly again. We'd been together 4 years 🙄
Just about every other boyfriend or girlfriend was because of some variation of cheating or jealousy (on their end) lol

I had a boyfriend Brandon. I dated his friend/cousin Damien who I was in love with and still care about but am not on good terms with. They weren’t really blood related hut just close. I was new and didn’t know. After being broken up with Damien cause I was scared he would break up with me I was heart broken. I met branden and immediately felt something. I didn’t want to be wrong with Damien cause I still loved him but I knew I had to move on. I moved past Damien and got closer with branden. I think he knew I liked him. When u switched schools mid year branden opened up to me that he had feelings for me. We started dating and it was amazing! We dated for a little bit and then my ex Damien told me that branden was slapping a girls ass and grabbing her. I was heart broken but I still loved branden. I told him I couldn’t take it I couldn’t stay I’m done with this. He cried and begged but I didn’t want to be played. He got a new girlfriend a month later. But I started even sooner. Damien had me in an emotional state. I thanked him and said I was soo happy he told me and didn’t hide it. I needed a rebound and then got with Damien. Branden and his girlfriend jada broke up. Then Damien broke up with me and got with jada too. I fucking hate my life. But now I’m happy with someone named Jason. He would never cheat. I liked him for 8 months before I really moved in on him and expressed things. He is soo cute and he’s loyal. He’s so nice and makes me the happiest person alive. We started dating 2/28/2020. Our first kiss was just a peck 2/26/2020. Were doing great and I’m soo happy.

My last boyfriend I broke up with because he was pretty abusive. He wasn't at first, but latet in our relationship he lost his job and struggled finding a new one while I was doing well for myself. I think he felt demasculated by all of it. I had no issues paying for our dates but he ended up pushing me away, accusing me of cheating with my coworker, and the straw that broke the camel's back was when he mocked my PTSD and said how PTSD isn't real and just a hoax for psychiatrists to get money. He would purposely do the things that triggered me. Yeah, I was done after that
