Should I be worried??

My doctor called me and said my progesterone was low and I needed to take Prometrium 2X a day orally until I’m 12 weeks and that’s it. I’m not sure if this is a major concern or not and I don’t want to freak myself out! Any info would help please!

Progesterone is needed, so this is correct to take throughout your first trimester until your placenta completely takes over.
