Keira walks out of her parents' room heading for her bedroom. She’s wearing some cute koala pajamas. Her dad is lying on the couch watching videos on his iPad. “Goodnight Dad. I love you, ” she quickly says as she passes by him. “Goodnight sweetheart. I love you too. Go to bed, ” he replies. She stops and rolls her eyes. With as much sarcasm as she can muster, she says, “Come on Dad. You know I'm gonna go take the screen off and jump out my window into the thorny bushes that there is no way to get around so I can sneak off to a party. Especially in these clothes. Perfect for teenage parties. I'm obviously gonna get drunk, make stupid decisions, and come sneaking back in at 3 am.” He looks up from his iPad and laughs. Keira smiles at him. “Whatever, goodnight, ” he says. She makes her way into her room and texts her best friend. “Operation highschool party is a go. Pick me up in 20 minutes after I get changed.”
