Do you allow grandparents to discipline kids when babysitting?

Would you allow any grandparents to discipline your kids if they were babysitting.

Yes, they can use the same rules & disciplinary actions we use, that way my child (children in a couple months) will know that those expectations are for everyone not just when they’re with us.

why would you have anyone watch your kids that wasn't allowed to discipline them? to me that never made any sense because then they learn they dont actually have to listen to whatever adult is in charge

Yes because we discipline the same way

Same rules and discipline strategies we use apply. If my child is misbehaving is someone else’s care I except her to be corrected and appropriately punished (separated from other kids, time out, told to clean up, missing out on activity etc). I don’t use any kind of physical discipline and would never allow anyone else to either.
