FTM contractions?

I don’t feel pain but I have to get up and start moving my hips, like an in-body restlessness. There’s not necessarily a tightening either, but I have a feeling they are contractions. 
My mama never even felt her contractions in early labor and only realized she was in labor when she was in active labor. From then it only took me 2 hours to be born. Her water never broke either.

FTM here as well! I had them the other day and they started in my lower back then came around front like menstrual cramps. It was kind of tightening as well. They got to be fairly close together and pretty painful but then they died out. I really thought it was my time! 😭 I read it could be the latent phase. I also lost my mucus plug and then today it’s just been constant back pain, no contractions anymore. I’m beyond frustrated lol

I was just about to ask what contractions feel like because I have a feeling I’m having some but it doesn’t start at the top of my tummy like the articles say. I’m having a little lower back pain then pain where you would feel period cramps and I’m just confused!!
