Induction day!! Update

I’m 39 weeks today. I was originally supposed to be induced sometime Tuesday night, but the hospital called me early this morning and asked me to come in at noon today instead!! I wasn’t induced with my first, so I’m nervous about the process, but of course super excited to meet my little one and also not be pregnant anymore lol. I’m hoping we’ll have an Easter baby, but I know it’s not guaranteed. Wish me luck 😊

I’m surprised at how long I lasted without an epidural! I was doing great standing or walking around and then out of nowhere he dropped pretty far and it got really intense very quickly. Got the epidural in (didn’t work quite as well as I had hoped, but took away enough of he pain) and then about an hour and a half afterward it was time to push. I was given an extra dose just before he was born and that did the trick and knocked out all of the pain just in time! We barely had an Easter baby.
