So why is it they are telling me I don’t get a ultrasound until I’m 37 weeks I thought u get one at 30-33 I’m so mad 😡

I only got 2, at 8 weeks and 20. No reason for additional ones unless there’s a risk 🤷🏼‍♀️

My Ob does them at 7-8 weeks and 20. 
I had multiples just because I’m high risk then turned around and went into preterm labor twice (don’t know why but after the second time doc started ordering every week.)  so I had them at 7,17,18,20,22,24,26,32,33,34,35,36 and now 37 don’t think I’ll make it to 38. But being induced at 39 due to Covid 19

Every provider is different but typically you don’t get anymore after 20 weeks unless there an issue. I got a couple in the first weeks of finding out because I had some issues, but originally I was just going to get my first then one at 20 weeks and that would be it. I got one at 30 something weeks because she saw something in my 20 weeks she wanted to check(I switched providers). I could go in for a privet ultrasound  but I’d have to pay for it out of pocket.

Loads of women get only two ultrasounds and that's at 12 weeks and 20 weeks other than that high risk pregnancies get more than two (that's how it is here) my pregnancy is semi high risk so I have a 32 week scan because of a low placenta. How come you get another one at 30-33 weeks? :)

It’s going to depend on your provider. Only two are really necessary in low risk pregnancy’s, so many providers only do two/three. I only had one after my anatomy scan at 36 weeks to check baby’s position. I won’t have anymore as long as I don’t have any issues.

With my ob, you don’t get another ultrasound after the 20 week anatomy scan unless there is a medical reason for it. Sometimes they’ll do a quick peek to see if baby is in the right position for it though
