Hi! I believe that I might be having an allergic reaction to my medicine I am taking, Doxycycline. My boyfriend and i are both taking it right now and this morning we didn’t take the medicine with food and not as much water, within an hour we both felt nauseous, I threw up and he didn’t. I noticed on my face i started getting these little purple and blue dots and a spot on my neck. When I get sick I usually get these bumps just near my chin but it’s all over my face now. We’ve been taking the medicine for a few days now, he has NGU, an inflammation of the urethra which I didn’t have symptoms for but can be transferred through sex so the doctor just prescribed me anyways. Should I still take the medicine tonight or wait til I can call the doctor tomorrow? We both feel better now, not nauseous and I haven’t thrown up since, thankfully my appetite was still there! Thank you for any help!!
