i heard baby acne is normal my baby gets it often and it sometimes appears overnight

So I noticed my baby had cradle crap and we started treating it with vasaline. I would brush it to get the access flakes up and allow it to set in overnight. Well a few days later o noticed the bumps on his forehead and then they were all over his face. Today I noticed swelling to his right ear and eye. I called the dr’s office and we went in and they told me it was the cradle cap that has now made it to his face and shoulders. He explained that we should put vasaline on his face and head 3x a day and he prescribed a steroid cream for the redness. However, prior to the Appt, I was cleaning his face with warm water and putting breast milk over his face. It would dry it out but I was concerned more about the swelling.

This is what my cousins dr prescribed for her daughters cradle cap. I believe this is only by prescription and not otc.

Completely normal! My baby has had it for 2 weeks now and I believe they disappear on their own when they turn 2 months

My hijo has this too. Kinda got somewhat worse. He has his 1 month visit next week. Gonna try and pump some milk to apply tommorow.
