Should i sue the hospital
So i had to leave work early Sunday morning because i was having awful pelvic pain. I thought it was an ectopic pregnancy or a cyst on my ovary. After i go though screening and get my blood drawn i got pain meds (fentanyl and something else) got my ultrasound done they say everything looks good, I'm not pregnant but i have BV. They prescribe me an antibiotic and off i go. I felt funny when i left but i thought it was just because i just worked an overnight shift. I got to the hospital at 5am and left at 8am. I got home and fell down going up the stairs but my husband helped me into bed and i fell asleep. Fast forward to 24 hours later the pain is 10x worse and moved up my abdomen. I leave home at 5am to go back to the same er i was at the night previous... Luckily same doctor was there but a different nurse. Same thing as the night before but they order a CT scan instead and test me for covid 19 because of my abdominal pain. No fever cought etc. So after my CT the nurse Congress in and asks is i want fentanyl because i will have to have a ride home if they discharge me beforeit been five hours so i process to tell her that i had fentanyl the night previous and DROVE HOME 2 HOURS later... She was dumbfounded.. Like Wtf. No wonder i couldnt walk up my stairs and felt funny. I pray that i made it home and wonder if i should sue tbe hospital for nor passing enough attention.
