Baby Is Not Moving Much... Tips?

Hey, I am 30 weeks pregnant and my baby hasn’t moved much at all in the past two days. I have a Fetal Doppler and his heart sounds fine. Any tips on how to get him to move?

Don’t trust the Doppler to tell you whether baby is alright or not. My OB doesn’t recommend dopplers because women will listen to the heartbeat and assume everything is fine and not contact their doctor if there is decreased movement, when they actually might not even be hearing the heart. Call your doctor if you have concerns about decreased movement! Always better to be safe

Lay on your side for a while, sugary drinks, bouncing, flashlight to the belly, trying jiggling your tummy... If it's still not working check in with your ob!

Call your doctor. Don’t trust the doppler because a normal person doesn’t know what to listen for to know if baby is ok.

I’d still try to get baby to move by icy or sugary drinks and if that doesn’t work then check with your doctor because when they monitor then monitor more then just the heart rate

Are you doing your kick count everyday?
Lay on your left side and drink cold water ,soda or orange juice.
Let your doctor know baby isn't that active.
