Depo Shot help💉

So I currently started using the depo shot 5 months ago.. I currently am 46 days late of my period, went to the doctor recently and got tested and took a pregnancy test at home and everything said I wasn’t pregnant.. is this natural?

Also I’ve gained 50 pounds since I’ve started the shot, I’ve always been a small girl who always stayed at one weight for pretty much forever, nor do I eat much.. is this also the cause of depo?
