Gender testing

Has anyone used sneak peek to test gender? Or can you request a blood test to find out early?

I did sneak peek & it was accurate. I was 12 weeks.

I didn’t think I could either, but it was surprisingly easy! You’re busy making sure you’re doing it right, so there is less time to feel sick!

I watched a YouTube video on it.. and I get super queasy with blood and I saw how much you gotta get and I don’t know if I could do it by myself at home 🤢

Your doctor can do it at 10 weeks through genetic testing.

I did a NonInvasive Prenatal Test at 11ws. you can find out the chromosomal results and decide if you want to know the gender or not. I chose to find out asap.

I got an early gender scan from a local ultrasound office around 11 weeks and it was accurate for me - that could be another way to go! I’ve heard so many stories about these at home tests being wrong, I would be so sad to get attached to an idea only to find out it wasn’t right anyway

The home test ones boy results are wrong about 50% of the time. So just do the one in the office or wait until your anatomy ultrasound to find out.

I had the Sneak Peek Clinical test done at an elective ultrasound place because I did not trust myself to do it at home. They drew the blood from my arm straight into the tube so the risk of it getting contaminated is slim. At 12 weeks I got a boy result and ultrasound confirmed!

You can definitely do a blood test early on. Just be prepared that it's only about 60% accurate, so you still need to wait for the anatomy scan to confirm
