Getting pregnant while breastfeeding?...

Has anyone gotten pregnant while/still breastfeeding?? We’re you trying? If so what did you do to get pregnant while still nursing?... 
Hubby and I want another baby so they can be close in age... but I’m still breastfeeding and haven’t had my period yet and it’s going to be 8 months. We started trying but still nothing. Any tips or advice is appreciated!

I got pregnant when my daughter was 7 months and still breastfeeding, though I had gotten my period back at 5 months. I used opks and bbt just like the first time and i was pregnant on our 3rd month trying, just like the first time.
My milk supply did completely drop by the time she was 10 months tho so just beware. By 11 months I only nursed her once a day and supplemented with freezer stash. Luckily I had enough to get her to her 1st bday. She’s 13 months now and I’m almost 26 weeks with #2
