Small baby?
I’m almost 22 weeks into my pregnancy. I started off with triplets and now I’m only carrying my singleton. Yesterday I had an appointment with my high risk doctor out of Denver and they did the anatomy ultrasound. He said everything looks good as far as organs but more than once he mentioned his concern about the baby being so small. He said because I started off with triplets and carried all three to a little over 14 weeks that might be why. So I go back in 4 weeks for another scan. Also, I have the most stubborn baby ever. I’ve had 7 ultrasounds in two months and we just can’t seem to catch a good glimpse of the goods. Yesterday they thought they saw girl parts for a split second. I had blood work done and it came back boy but they can’t confirm which baby the test picked up.
I wish I would have asked how much smaller the baby was measuring at, but it’s like I went into a trance trying to process. Has anyone ever dealt with the concern of a small baby during pregnancy?
Thanks for listening 🤗
