32 week checkup
So I have placenta previa and a high chance of accreta due to previous cesareans. I was diagnosed with previa at 22 weeks and have been on restrictions ever since. I haven't had any bleeds and no pain other than round ligament which is to be expected. My daughter is growing on schedule and at our 28 week ultrasound she was in the 57 percentile weighing in at 2.11. My doctor told me then that I most likely had accreta due to the fact that there was no defining line between my placenta and uterus. He said that I will have to deliver at 34 weeks to ensure our safety. The day I got this information I jumped on helping her gain weight, ice cream, peanut butter and lots of milk. I gained 15 pounds in about a month. Before my appointment yesterday my doctor told me to be careful because alot of times it's the mother who gains and not the baby. That they will only take what they need. Well, yesterday at our ultrasound she came in at the 84 percentile and estimated weight at 5.8! I'm 32 weeks now. My doctor said that if she weighs that much on ultrasound that more than likely she's already at 6 lbs 🥰 I'm going in for a chyst on April 29 and now I can rest and just get ready for her delivery. The ultrasound tech even showed me that she's practicing breathing. I'm so relieved! I've been eating all the groceries 😂 I don't mind gaining as long as she is too. Look at her chubby cheeks 😍 So for those of you that are trying to prepare for an early delivery and need baby's weight up, ice cream, peanut butter, milk, extra butter and meat. Good luck Mama's 😘
